When you enter Step 3 you receive an email from Farkhanda with a whole lot of links. Make sure you can go back to refer to it, as you will frequently need to. I will also include those links here for quick reference.

You will also be able to create your new session on the portal, or have it created for you.

I am adding comments based on our experience helping to get Softball and 10-Pin up and running. We are being quite aggressive getting people to start using the portal as in the long run this will make life a bit easier for the volunteers running the club. Getting the waivers done online in itself is a good reason.

Vaccine Declaration Links

Previously these were required from Coaches and Volunteers, including an upload of proof of the second vaccination; However it was optional for athletes and there was no proof required. This changed early September, now athletes are required to provide the same proof of full vaccination as the volunteers due to a change in Ontario government policy.

Each club will be given a link specific to their club, which must be sent out to all athletes, volunteers and coaches. This form must be filled out in order to attend in person club activities.

There is a link from which a person can download their proof of vaccinations: https://covid19.ontariohealth.ca/ if they do not have the one given to them when vaccinated.

You will find that non-registered people, such as parents, who will attend with their athlete may fill out this form as well. Not a problem.

Getting members and administrators onto the portal

When people go through the process for self enrollment there is a search where they need to indicate the region and the community. The region is actually the SOO District: South Central Ontario. The Community is, obviously, Oakville.
