To say that these two amazing athletes had a successful competetion would be a vast understatement. They both placed on the podium in all of their events! We congratulate our athletes on their excellent performance.

Our two world class athletes

Jason Walker, a resident of Brampton has been participating in the Oakville Ten Pin club, In the Pocket, since he qualified to represent Ontario at the 2006 National Games. All his hard work and bowling above his average earned him a spot on the Canadian team, finishing 6th out of 96 athletes in Canada. This accomplishment came with a large commitment to continue his training and work with his training coaches at least three times a week. Jason has risen to the challenge!
  Jason Walker's final results:

Bowling Singles Gold

Emily Boycott, a resident of Acton, and a founding member of the Oakville Butterflies Rhythmic Gymnastics club. Emily is one of very few Canadian athletes in this sport competing at level 4, which is currently the highest level.

  Emily Boycott's final results:
Rhythmic Ball Gold
Rhythmic Hoop Gold
Rhythmic Ribbon Gold
