|Oakville Active Start|
Active Start is a new program offered through Special Olympics and is designed to teach young children the fundamental movement and sports skills which will promote an active lifestyle. Active Start sessions are 12 weeks long.
Active Start is designed to help develop basic motor and movement skills in children aged 2 to 6 years old with an intellectual disability.
Unfortunately we no longer have a head coach for this program. This is a very specialized age group, both of our previous head coaches had significant qualifications in this ares. To head our program we need somebody with experience running programs for very young children. Anyone interested, please contact our manager, MaryAnn Cervin-Lawry: 905-825-3565.
