Active Start is a new program offered through Special Olympics and is designed to teach young children the fundamental movement and sports skills which will promote an active lifestyle. Active Start sessions are 12 weeks long.
Active Start is designed to help develop basic motor and movement skills in children aged 2 to 6 years old with an intellectual disability.
This program has been in active for awhile but we are able to restart it with the help and expertise of the Schlegel's Gymnastics Centre in Oakville
